THE PROJECT
Woodford Business Park is home to blue chip office spaces for large multinational corporations. Pinebridge were engaged by Aramark Property to complete a full refurbishment of the common areas at Block 3.1 to improve the overall aesthetics to the circulation and welfare areas.
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
Phasing – During the refurbishment works our refurbishment team ensured that staff on all floors had access to uninterrupted access to their work areas and welfare facilities.
Live busy environment – Works were phased to ensure that tenants were unaffected by the refurbishment works and that exclusions zones were created and maintained in order to separate the construction works with staff entering and exiting the building. Any major works that were due to cause disruption were scheduled outside of normal hours.
Existing building – Defects in the original fabric of the building were discovered and immediately rectified during the course of the works. The firestopping integrity of the building was significantly improved as a result of discovery of these defects.
